- Q: Your name suggests that you are an outdoor photographer. Is that all you do?
A: No; we provide additional photographic services. As an avid outdoorsman, I wanted to include something in the name which would reflect my passion for both the outdoors and photography.
- Q: Do you have a "brick & mortar" studio?
A: We do not have a physical studio at this time. As the business grows, we will be looking at desireable locations for a permanent studio.
We have found that many of our clients prefer to select locations which hold specific meaning to them. We are able to provide them with most services in locations of their choice.
- Q: What kinds or types of photography do you provide?
A: We provide a variety of photography services for our valuable clients... that's you! You can find a "Short List" of our offerings by clicking on "Services" in the menu above.
Here are a few of our additional offerings; please feel free to inquire if what you want or need is not listed below:
Full range of portraiture to include executive, children & infants, families, individual.
Group events: family reunions, parties (birthdays, holidays, special events).
Pets: this includes common pets (dogs, cats, birds) as well as reptiles and agricultural animals such as horses, cattle, poultry and rabbits.

Architectural, environmental, nature, real estate and wildlife.
Insurance and Legal
Product/commercial imagery.
Stock imagery for business, websites, etc.
- Q: What are your rates; how much do you charge?
A: Our rates are industry competitive. Average session rates, depending on type of service selected, begin at $150 for up to 2 hours of session time or $250 for up to 4 hours.
We have basic package rates for most sessions. Each one is based on that particular service. Most clients prefer customized packages. Package pricing is available upon consultation.
- Q: What methods of payment do you accept? Do you accept credit cards?
A: Cash is King! Actually we accept all methods of payment.
In person, we accept cash, check, money orders and all four of the major credit cards. We do accept debit cards as long as they have the MasterCard® and Visa® logos on them.
Through our commercial Gallery on the website,we accept the four major cards (MasterCard®, Visa®, Discover®, American Express®) and debit cards only if they have the MasterCard® or Visa® logo.
And, like I said above... cash is always king! :)
- Q: How do I get my photographs delivered?
A: There are two ways you can receive your photographs:
1) Through our commercial Gallery available online. Once your photographs have been processed and uploaded, you will receive both email and telephone/text notifications containing links to your personal private Gallery. Your personal Gallery is password protected and you will have sole access.
***NO ONE ACCEPT YOU AND THOSE WHOM YOU GIVE ACCESS TO WILL BE ABLE TO ACCESS YOUR IMAGES!***
Through our online commercial Gallery, you may customize your photo selections, order prints and purchase additional items such as coffee mugs, jewelry boxes, albums and other items displaying the photograph of your choice.
2) Customized packages are processed using local custom labs and are personally hand delivered upon completion.
Once your photographs have been digitally processed, we will schedule a session for us to sit down and you select which photographs for your customized package. Depending on your selections, delivery is usually with in 14 business days.
- Q: Do I get a digital record of my photographs on a disk or USB drive? Do I retain the copyright to my images?
A: Excellent questions.
You may purchase a DVD or USB drive, containing your purchased images, after your initial contract has been completed. These files are optimized for use on social media.
As the creator of the images, I retain the creative copyright to use the images in promoting my business. All images are imprinted, with my copyright, in one corner of the photograph. You retain the copyright to your likeness.
I may not sell your likeness or use it in any other fashion than described above without your express permission.
All copyright laws apply and only those permissions as outlined herein are granted.
- Q: Do you shoot with a digital camera or with film? What medium and format do you use?
A: Unless otherwise requested, most of our shoots are done in digital medium using DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) systems. All of our photographic equipment is Nikon.
Digital format cameras utilize both DX (APS-C size) and FX (Full 35mm size) sensors. Film medium cameras are 35mm systems.
Though currently not available in digital, medium format film photography is available in a limited capacity.
Just like vinyl records are making a comeback, so is film photography. All film shoots are "by request only" with pricing subject to package and need.
- Q: Do you process and develop film?
A: Awesome question and one that we are asked quite often.
We do NOT process any film. However, I have a couple of local labs who do process and develop film and photographs. The one I use most often and recommend above all others is Fototechnika. Here is their location, contact and internet information:

- Q: How long have you been shooting photography?
A: I have been involved in photography since the age of 8 (1968). In 1981, I obtained my first real 35mm camera and began shooting as a hobbyist. In 1982, I started shooting as a freelance photographer. Those early credits include work published in The Beaches Leader and The Financial News & Daily Record news papers.
From 1985 to 1989, I provided newsletter and product photography for the company I worked for full time.
By 1989, I was shooting fulltime on-location sessions and had expanded into wedding and product photography. In 1994, I closed operations to work in the technology industry. Though I no longer shot photos professionally, I continued to shoot as a hobbist.
In April 2017, I returned to what I love... Photography.
